CORDA funding

The Canada Ontario Resource Development Agreement (CORDA) is now accepting funding applications for the 2026–2027 cycle.

CORDA supports Ontario First Nations communities by funding projects that promote the development, management, harvesting, or conservation of renewable natural resources.

Who Can Apply:

  • First Nations
  • First Nations members and organizations
  • Territorial organizations in Ontario

Eligible Projects May Include:

  • 🌱 Environmental stewardship and resource planning
  • 🎓 Training, employment, and traditional learning
  • 🪶 Crafts, maple syrup production, and cultural initiatives
  • 🛠️ Equipment, supplies, and infrastructure
  • 🌲 Forestry, trapping, fishing, and eco-tourism

Maximum Funding Per Project: $35,000
Application Deadline: Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EST
